Engl 2x12 Standard Slanted E 212 S Extension Cabinet

At last a decent sized vertical cab that you can actually sit a full size head on ! The 2 Celestion V60's run at 16 ohms and are (from what I can tell) V30's made to order for Engl - they sound really punchy with a little less midrange than V30s but thats no bad thing. This is basically a 4x12 in height and about 2/3 the width. The covering is perfect and the cab seems very solid...
One thing I'd like to add about the cabinetry - the description here says that it is made of birch ply throughout - the two speaker baffles certainly are but I think that the body is made of particle board - which explains the weight - I noticed this when I drilled to fit castors (recommended - as I said - this is no light-weight...) There obviously has to be some compromise at this price but to my ears this cab still sounds fantastic.
The metal grill whilst being practical will not be to everyone's taste.
All in all a good value cab. Highly recommended
