Engl E330/2 Screamer II Combo

The Engl E330/2 Screamer II Combo is a first-class Combo Amplifier for Electric Guitar with extensive features and versatile sound character. Based on an analogue circuit with 4x ECC83 tubes, the Screamer II's pre-amplifier provides 2x channels which, in combination with the switchable boost, cover the entire sound spectrum between transparent Clean, juicy Crunch or Overdrive and aggressive high-gain Distortion. The integrated Noise Gate ensures a pleasant tranquillity during breaks, even with the highest gain settings. The Clean channel also has a Bright switch to emphasize the highs, while the Lead channel has a Presence control. The classic 3-band tone control, which is shared by both channels, also allows precise adjustment of the sound. Another special feature is the Mid Boost Plusflex, a mid-range boost that can be used to boost punch and offers 4x switching options. The power amp of the E330/2 Screamer II draws a hefty 50W output power from 2x 6L6 tubes, so that sufficient volume reserves are available for band rehearsals, gigs and the session in the recording studio. The 12" Celestion Vintage 30 loudspeaker with its accentuated mid-range reproduction provides an extremely powerful sound with high assertiveness.
