The Eowave Quadrantid Swarm attracts attention as a new Desktop Synthesizer one with unusual design and exciting features. The core of the sound is a digital triangle oscillator with wave spread. A percussive sound element and noise can be added. The generated spectrum is processed with filter 1, which works in either 12 dB Low- or High Pass mode, and filter 2, which is only designed as Low Pass.
Movement in the sound comes with an A/D (Attack/Decay) envelope, as well as one LFO with eight waveforms, the final level control takes over a VCA. The icing on the cake is the built-in, genuinely analog spring reverb at the end of the signal path. The eight gold tiles are used to enter further functions, make the Quadrantid Swarm monophonic or polyphonic playable and give access to the 8-step Sequenzer .
The numerous CV and Gate inputs make it Quadrantid Swarm the perfect complement to other modular equipment and expand the possibilities many times over.
