The Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue Washed Bourbon Burst at a glance:

In collaboration with Gibson,Epiphone delivers a faithful reissue model of the legendary 1959 Les Paul Standard, which shines with authentic features and the iconic charm of the late 1950s! Compared to the later 60s models, the 1959 Les Paul Standard offers all the advantages that should be of particular interest to vintage fanatics: In detail, the mahogany body bears a maple top with a chic AAA-quality curly maple veneer, the grain of which is skillfully set off by the Washed Bourbon Burst finish. The mahogany neck is characterized by the 1959 Rounded "C" medium neck profile, while the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with classic mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays completes the legendary Vintage-Look. At the heart of the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue are two original Gibson Custombucker pickups in the neck and bridge position, which produce the authentic Les Paul sound with assertive mids and plenty of low-end. In terms of hardware, Epiphone naturally relies on an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with Historic aluminum Tailpiece and the in-house Epiphone "Deluxe" tuners with white keystone buttons. The electric guitar also comes with a matching hardshell case for safe transportation!
