Based on the original 1963 model, the Firebird V offers authentic vintage features combined with high-quality appointments. The mahogany body wings have an elegant Polaris White finish and are complemented by a full-length, nine-strip neck made of mahogany and walnut, which not only provides enormous stability but also excellent resonance. The comfortable 1963 Firebird neck profile and the rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays ensure an authentic playing feel and complete the elegant vintage look of the Firebird V. In terms of sound, the electric guitar delivers the original Gibson sound: two Gibson USA Firebird mini-humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets in the neck and bridge position offer an assertive yet brilliant sound with a crisp response.
