The Billie Joe Armstrong Signature electric guitar is, of course, based on the classic single-cut slab-body design of the Les Paul Junior. Originally introduced as a student model of the famous Les Paul, the LP Junior features a glued mahogany neck with a slim headstock and a substantial vintage ’50s neck profile, offering both beginners and advanced guitarists the best playing conditions on the 22-fret Indian laurel fingerboard.
The Epiphone Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior derives its astonishingly versatile tone from its single Epiphone PRO P-90 pickup in the bridge position, which delivers a versatile sound and, when required, provides more than enough power for juicy rock riffs. The single-coil pickup is controlled via high-quality CTS potentiometers in the form of a volume control and an additional tone control for attenuating the treble.
In addition, Epiphone is including a matching custom hardshell case free of charge with every Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior. The moulded case, specially crafted for this limited edition model, features the classic artwork from the 2000 ‘Warning’ album on the outside, whilst the inside is fitted with a large accessory compartment and a soft, leopard-print plush lining.
