With the Epiphone Flying V Prophecy Aged Bengal Tiger Burst, Epiphone combines the iconic V design from 1958 with modern sounds and features. In addition to its double humbucker configuration with Fishman Fluence Prophecy humbuckers specially developed for the Prophecy series and switchable voicings, the Flying V Prophecy offers a resonant and road-ready hardware configuration in a uniform brushed nickel finish.

'58 Flying V with Flame Maple Veneer
The Prophecy Flying V's stays true to the iconic 1958 design crafted from solid mahogany wood. A stunning AAA-quality maple veneer top adds visual flair, making it a real eye-catcher. The mahogany neck with asymmetrical slim taper shaping provides a classic feel. Its slight offset shape enables players to rest their thumbs for perfect bendings and controlled fretting on the 24-fret ebony fretboard.
Fishman Fluence Prophecy humbuckers with three voicings specially tuned to the Prophecy series deliver a variety of guitar sounds.
Versatile Fishman Fluence Prophecy Humbucker
Equipped with the innovative Fishman Fluence design the Flying V Prophecy, pushes the sonic boundaries of traditional humbuckers. Each pickup offers two distinct voicings, giving you access to coveted PAF tones for classic rock and blues, or tight, aggressive sounds of modern metal in modern mode. For added versatility you can switch to Coil Split mode via the push/pull controls, unlocking the bright, articulate tones of single-coil pickups with enhanced clarity and attack.
Grover Locking Rotomatic with a brushed nickel finish keeps the Prophecy Flying V securely and precisely in tune.
Solid LockTone Hardware and Grover tuners
Epiphone relies on a classic TOM/stopbar combination in the form of a LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge with matching LockTone stopbar. This combination ensures precise adjustability of intonation and string action while delivering direct resonance transfer to the body. The six Grover Rotomatic tuners with backlocking function make string changes quick and easy, offering superior tuning stability from the very first note thanks to fewer axle windings. All hardware of the Flying V Prophecy comes in a uniform brushed nickel finish.

Epiphone Flying V Prophecy Aged Bengal Tiger Burst
Excellent design and craftmanship. I like to mod my guitars but this needs nothing done. Music Store had done a quick setup too, so everything was ready for a great playing experience right out of the box. Pickups have versatility, awesome hardware, good fretwork, and the overall feel is great.
