High-quality tonewoods and proven hardware
The Epiphone Jeff Beck 1954 Les Paul Oxblood features a solid mahogany body topped with a glued maple cap, delivering the classic Les Paul tone and sustain. Its Oxblood finish pays homage to the original guitar featured on the Blow by Blow cover. The one-piece mahogany neck, crafted with a Long Neck Tenon and Jeff Beck Custom Large C profile, offers a smooth yet substantial feel ideal for expressive bends, slides, and fast chord work. A rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets, 24.75" scale length, and 12" radius ensures vintage-style playability. Tuning stability is maintained by Schaller M6 90 tuners, a GraphTech nut, and a Historic Wraparound aluminum bridge modeled after the 1950s original.
Gibson Custombucker Pickups
The Epiphone Jeff Beck 1954 Les Paul Oxblood is equipped with two USA-made Gibson Custombucker pickups, delivering the warm, open, and biting tone that defined Jeff Beck’s sound. Compared to classic PAF pickups, these offer enhanced dynamic response and richer overtones, ideal for expressive slides and fiery licks. The traditional Les Paul control layout includes two volume and two tone knobs, paired with high-quality CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors for precise, responsive tone shaping. Visual highlights include gold speed knobs, a cream pickguard, and subtle nickel hardware, giving the guitar a striking appearance on both stage and in the studio.
