With the limited edition Joe Bonamassa '59 Les Paul Custom, Epiphone presents an exclusive signature model that captures the legendary Gibson sound in a more affordable format. Developed in collaboration with blues rock icon Joe Bonamassa, this 1959 Les Paul Custom model combines traditional construction with high-quality components and an authentic vintage look. The mahogany body with aged/yellowed 7-ply binding together with the glued mahogany neck in 1959 Rounded C profile and the rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets provide a real vintage feel. Two ProBucker Custom humbuckers with CTS potentiometers provide the unmistakable sound of classic 1959 Les Pauls, which are characterized by their solid tone with a high frequency range. From crystal-clear cleans to assertive Drive, the electric guitar delivers the characteristic Les Paul sound that has been tried and tested over decades. The whole thing is complemented by a high-quality LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge including Bigsby B70 vibrato, Grover Imperial tuners and gold hardware, which skillfully round off the elegant design of this guitar.
