For the body construction, solid mahogany wood is used in combination with an intensely grained flamed maple top to remain true to the original both visually and sonically. Glued to this is a mahogany neck in the 'Modern Medium C' shape with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard and classic block inlays. Two Epiphone ProBucker Custom humbuckers are used for sound conversion in the neck and bridge positions, which are controlled separately via real CTS potentiometers.
