LP construction made of mahogany and maple

Staying true to the classic formula that has defined the Les Paul for over seven decades, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard '50s features the iconic single-cutaway body made from solid mahogany and topped with a solid maple top, enhanced by a beautiful AAA-quality curly maple veneer. The mahogany neck is glued to the body with a slim neck heel, and its 1959 Rounded Medium C shape delivers the unmistakable neck profile of the late ‘50s Les Paul. Designed for both seasoned vintage enthusiasts and modern players alike, the Les Paul Standard '50s offers a perfect foundation for expressive riffing, with limitless creative possibilities across all 22 frets.

Epiphone ProBucker Puckups

True to the classic Les Paul setup, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard '50s features the traditional dual humbucker configuration. In the neck position, you'll find the Epiphone ProBucker-1, while the bridge position is equipped with the slightly hotter ProBucker-2 humbucker. These double-coil pickups are carefully matched with the appropriate winding numbers for each position, ensuring a harmonious balance across the three pickup settings, including the iconic in-between tone. The ’50s-style wiring is hand-wired with high-quality CTS potentiometers, further enhancing the guitar’s vintage character and tonal richness.
