Mahogany & AAA curly maple veneer
As a striking visual highlight, each Les Paul Standard ’60s features a solid maple top crowned with a AAA-grade curly maple veneer. A transparent finish in timeless Gibson-inspired colors shows off the beautiful figuring. The solid mahogany body is paired with a glued-in mahogany Slim Taper ’60s neck, offering the smooth, time-tested playability that made the original Les Paul famous.
Epiphone ProBucker Pickups
Tone comes from a pair of Epiphone ProBucker pickups: a ProBucker-2 in the neck position and a slightly hotter ProBucker-3 at the bridge. Together they produce the classic Les Paul voice, from articulate jazz cleans and the signature “woman tone” to punchy, sustaining rock leads. Quality components round out the build, including USA-made CTS potentiometers, a self-lubricating GraphTech nut, and a set of Grover Rotomatic tuners that ensure rock-solid tuning stability.
