The Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus, Vintage Sunburst Electric Guitar is a Premium Les Paul with AAA Flame Maple Top and a Translucent finish. The Les Paul Tribute Plus pays tribute to Les Paul himself by offering the best Les Paul experience to guitarists for live and studio performances.
The Les Paul Tribute Plus Vintage Sunburst by Epiphone features a solid Mahogany back with a solid, carved hard Maple cap with Flame Maple veneer to create the ultimate combination of warmth and bite. For the best rock tone and sustain the Tribute PLUS takes that to the next level featuring the original "deep set" neck joint. The solid Mahogany neck with hand-fitted, glued-in joint extends well into the neck pickup cavity creating maximum neck-to-body contact and acting almost like one continuous piece of wood. Combined with the Mahogany/Maple body, the result is a tribute to Les' timeless guitar design with the sound that you can only get from a Les Paul.
The Epiphone Tribute Plus Les Paul is fitted with a pair of authentic Gibson USA '57 Classic humbucking pickups. The '57 Classic and '57 Classic Plus are faithful replicas of the famous Gibson humbuckers that helped define the music of the late 1950s. The '57 Classic gives you a tone that is warm and subtle with full, even response that doesn't hold back when you need that classic Gibson humbucker crunch! The '57 Classic Plus is the perfect bridge pickup and mimics humbuckers of that era that received a few extra turns of wire.
The Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus Main Features Include:
Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus Vintage SunburstThe "Tribute" LP is an Epiphone Les Paul Standard with some differentiations that make it distinctive. It 22 Medium-Jumbo Frets and two different available neck profiles. It has the Standard Les Paul asymmetrical neck, or the 1960s SlimTaper neck which to me is much more comfortable then any other Gibson-Epiphone neck. Everything else on this guitar is fairly Standard except for a few extra features. The pickups are beautiful remakes of 57 PAF Les Paul pickups and they really kick. My guitar plays circles around my friends schecter, ESPs and Strats. It also has coil taps in the tone knobs which chnages the humbuckers sound into a thinner cross between a single coil and a P90. The final twist is a set of grover locking tuners that really do excellent work. The guitar came with a hardshell case and a warranty card which I forgot to fill out. I really have no complaints for this guitars features, everything does its job the way I need it to.
Amazing guitar with outstanding look. But the good is inside, pickups having nice warm, vintage sound with the 57 Gibsons.Works amazing for blues, classic rock, and some hard rock that i need. The slimmer taper neck is much more comfortable than other les paul i ever tried,in my opinion and the workmanship is really good.No fret buzz with the action been low enough from the factory. The body is a little bit heavy but not bad at all, cause it gives a nice feeling of touch.Overall, that guitar has details that make the difference and i suggest it to everyone who wants quality on build and sound whithout spending much.
Were can I start? Well I start by saying that I am speechless. This was my first epiphone and the sound of it....it sounds just like my friends gibson SG standard. I thought it would be a similar sound but it was basically an exact "copy" of a gibson sounding. The bodys wood isnt that great, but it does it job, besides, the pick-ups cost 200 euros so I think that compensates/ balances everything. If you want a guitar with an amazing sound and a stuning price, I undoubtedly recommend this guitar.
That wasnt first guitar for me, so my humble opinion is: 1) Sound is great, Gibson pickups are amazing, 2) China quality, you wouldnt like this frets.
In fact, if you want good guitar for a funny price you should buy this guitar.
This guitar has high-end hardware, such as Gibson pickups which make it a real value for the money. Playability is great and a real pleasure. Neck is really thin and slides are easy. Very low action. Tuners are high-end. A bit disappointed with the volume controls, were not perfectly aligned and one got off after a couple of months.
