The Epiphone PRO-1 Acoustic Guitar Wine Red is a 6-string acoustic guitar featuring a spruce top, a mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fretboard and bridge, and a wine red finish. The PRO-1 is easy to play and delivers the full, vibrant sound that Epiphone is known for. Epiphone JumboPRO frets make fretting notes and chords easy. JumboPRO frets are taller and wider than smaller frets, so pushing down a string is easier with less hand fatigue and finger friction.
The PRO-1’s scale length is almost 1” shorter than most acoustic guitars, so the strings are under less tension meaning you don’t have to press hard to get good tone. The PRO-Ease string and fingerboard coating provides sleek, smooth action with reduced string noise. Epiphone’s Dual-Action truss rod allows you to adjust the neck in both directions, which stabilises the neck and makes set-up easier and more precise.

Epiphone PRO-1 WR Wine RedI bought this for my daughter who is stepping up from a 3/4 nylon strung acoustic. She couldn't be more pleased with the look, sound and feel. I play the guitar a bit myself and the quality seems amazing for the price point. The blue is a lovely colour.
Great price and delivery to my door. Love the product it was exactly as described and suited to my small fingers and the ideal tool for learning. Great price as well!
I am 72 years young, and always wanted to learn guitar. I read the reviews on this guitar, and believe me they are right. A superb beginner instrument, at a tremendous price, looks and sound, to me, are amazing, I am really looking forward to my new challenge. Also I would like to mention Music Store for an exemplary service with price and delivery to the UK, thank you.
Best regards,
Terry Short UK.
I'm very happy with this purchase. Despite being a guitar for begginers it will also not disappoint the most experienced. Very good price for such good quality of instrument.
This was a gift for a former professional musician. He described it as having the sound and build quality of the Epiphone guitars he used in the 1960s and amazing value for money. It would not only be suitable as an entry-level instrument but could be a reserve for a professional. He said that the guitar was so well set-up that he did not have to make any adjustments or take it to a guitar maker/repairer for adjustment and could play it straight out of the box.
