The Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic Dreadnought (Ebony) is a 6-String Acoustic Square Shoulder Dreadnought Guitar with a Select Spruce Top, Mahogany Body and a set Mahogany Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard. The Neck Profile is comfortable, and includes Dot Inlays, whilst the Bound Body, plus Chrome Hardware make this Guitar a pleasure to play.
The Dreadnought Body is a classic, perfect for Bluegrass, Country and Folk, and is probably the most familiar Body Shape among all Acoustic Guitars. It enjoys this great popularity due to its incredible flexibility and accurate address. The combination of Solid Spruce and Mahogany produces a clear Sound Image with strong Mid-Range and present Trebles, which is ideal for attack-rich performance.

The DR100 sounds loud and awesome. It has a good (slightly high for me) action and great "playability", do not regret buying it instead of the Fender.
It sits comfortably against your body sitting or with a strap standing up, the default strings are also quite good and seem to stay easily tuned but I suspect theyll get worn fast.
My only (small) beef with it is the back wood which seems a little frail, but the construction is generally solid, the paint is nice and doesnt scratch all too easily.
Service was good, (international) delivery was quick and the guitar was very well packed and accommodated.
This was my first acoustic guitar. I got it from my brother who had it for 2 years. I now have it 3 years and has taken no damage at all. Although it looks like a very basic guitar it has a great, loud sound. The guitar fits nicely into a gigbag and has good strings.
I was recommended the Epiphone DR100 by a friend who hand crafts Guitars for a well known brand and I'm over the moon with it... I'm a complete beginner so my basic understanding of guitars etc is limited but I love this guitar. It's well made and the sound is great, along with the fact that it's well priced! Great starter guitar...
