Equator D8 MK2

The DSP-controlled Equator D8 MK2 studio monitors are designed for near-field applications in recording and project studios and for post-production applications. The high-quality coaxial design of the speakers consists of an 8" woofer and a 1" tweeter, which can reproduce a frequency response from 44Hz to 20kHz. 100 Watt digital amplifier drives the speakers with extremely low distortion even at higher volumes.

Digital room adjustment

With the integrated DSP, the finest adjustments can be made in order to optimally adapt the monitors to the acoustic conditions of the installation site. Thanks to the bass reflex port located at the front, operation directly in front of a wall is also no problem. Like the Equator Q-Series, the D8 MK2 is equipped with the company'Zero-Point Reference™' digitally controlled coaxial transformer with an internal DSP to achieve coordinated signal reproduction between the speakers. This allows the loudspeakers to be calibrated very precisely;

The result is a balanced and detailed midrange sound with accurate bass placement and excellent reproduction of the low frequencies.
