The Graphic Resonant Filterbank (FB) from Erica Synths is an analog filterbank with 10 bands and digital control. The main feature of the GRFB are the ten filter bands with tuned bandpass filters. In contrast to a normal filter, you do not sweep the entire frequency range with the cutoff control, but only control the volume of the respective band. This offers the rare and unique possibility of emphasizing or attenuating certain frequency ranges of a sound. From a musical point of view, this is very productive and always invites you to experiment with new sounds. The module's range of applications extends far beyond the (voltage-controlled) filter bank application, with modes for multimode filters, spectral analyzer and dynamic spectral compressor. In addition, the module offers 128 memory locations to store all configurations and settings. The ability to control each band separately as well as resonance via CV or manually makes the Graphic Resonant Filterbank something special within its class. Another highlight is the ability to morph through a Preset with an external control voltage! The clock input is used to synchronize events. The separately available expander gives you direct access to the 10 frequency bands without having to select them individually with the encoder.
