The Evans BD20RA EQ1 Black 20" is a single-ply resonant/front head for 20” bass drums. The head has small air holes around the edge, the so-called ‘Dry Vents’ which allow full volume from the bass drum. The unique sound provided makes this suitable for higher pitched bass drums in jazz and bebop. This head doesn’t have a microphone hole.
