The Evans REMAD Port Protector 4" was inspired by the legendary EVANS EMAD system. The external damping device is designed for 4-inch port holes for microphones in bass drum resonance heads. By attaching the REMAD ring to the port hole for the microphone, you get more control over your overtones, allowing you to improve your pitch, focus and Attack. Each REMAD Set includes a foam ring that can be attached or removed for added control.
