The Evans B12RES7 Reso 7 12" Coated is a 12" tom head. The Reso 7 12’ is coated, and made from single-ply plastic. Evans Reso 7 series features a single ply of coated 7mil film that provides a full tonal response with a shortened sustain without the need for additional muffling. With the Reso 7 heads, The thin resonating head has a similar effect on the sound as a thicker batter head, only with significantly less sustain. The thin material thickness of the Reso 7 heads with a coated surface produce warm and full sounds which do not build up on each other but remain defined and precise.
