The FBT J 5A is an active 2-way loudspeaker in an extremely compact and lightweight housing and the ideal solution for applications where reliability and clear sound reproduction are important - whether in conference rooms, multimedia presentations or as an unobtrusive monitor on stage.

Powerful bi-amp technology
Despite its small size, the J 5A delivers an impressive output of 80 W + 40 W RMS thanks to modern Class D amplifiers. The bi-amp concept ensures that the bass driver and tweeter are driven separately, resulting in a high dynamic range and a maximum sound pressure level of 117 dB peak. An integrated analog signal processor with limiter continuously monitors the system and guarantees safe operation even at higher levels.

Flexibility in use
The housing made of gas-injected polypropylene impresses with its high robustness and functional design. Thanks to the asymmetrical design, the loudspeaker can be used versatilely and can also be used as a floor monitor without any problems. Two M6 threaded points for fixed installation and an integrated 35 mm stand flange ensure simple and versatile mounting, allowing the J 5A to adapt effortlessly to different environments. In terms of sound, the system scores with a switchable high-pass filter, which allows a seamless combination with a subwoofer and optimally complements the sound spectrum in the low frequency range.

Compact and mobile
Weighing just 3.2 kg, the J 5A is extremely easy to transport and quickly ready for use. The combination of a 5-inch woofer and a 1-inch neodymium silk dome tweeter delivers a balanced sound image from 80 Hz to 20 kHz, reproducing speech and music in equal detail. Two integrated M6 threaded points also offer flexible options for wall or ceiling mounting.
