This tailpiece is an extremely lightweight stop tailpiece (28.45g), of correct vintage style. They transfer vibration much differently, resulting in a woodier, more vintage, tone. This is intended to be a direct replacement for your Gibson tailpiece, or any other guitar using a standard stop tailpiece.
