The Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maud is an analogue delay pedal whose circuitry is based on classic BBD chips (Bucket Brigade Device) and produces a warm, vintage sound with a strong character. The Feed and Time knobs control the number and delay time of the echoes, ranging from 50ms to 500ms. The input stage of the Meet Maude also features a compressor that offers 2x intensity levels and smooths the signal before it is fed into the delay. Another special feature is the switchable, random modulation of the delay time, which can be used to simulate the uneven running of a traditional tape echo.
