Fame Baphomet 4 III - Boutique electric bass with character & precision

The Fame Baphomet 4 III expands the Baphomet series with a model that offers the same renowned build quality while introducing brand-new electronics. Handmade in Gdańsk, the Baphomet III basses feature a Delano JC4 HE/M2 pickup set paired with a Delano Sonar-2 preamp. The result is a wonderfully contoured sound with flexible tonal shaping via the 2-band EQ with bass and treble controls. A body made of black limba and a five-piece mahogany/maple neck not only ensure a striking appearance but also make each instrument unique thanks to the natural individuality of the wood grain. Combined with rugged hardware, the Baphomet III remains reliable and road-ready under the most intensive use, making it perfectly suited for rehearsals, studio work, and touring. Additional highlights include Schaller S-Lock strap pins for rock-solid security and an included gig bag for safe transport.

Like its predecessor, the Baphomet 4 III uses select tonewoods that guarantee both visual appeal and tonal excellence. The slim black limba body is finished in matte natural lacquer, showcasing the unique wood grain of each instrument. A five-piece mahogany neck with maple veneers is securely attached using a six-bolt construction, ensuring strength and stability. The comfortable “D” neck profile, combined with a 24-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard, offers superb playability, while the matte finish enhances the smooth feel for even the most demanding bass lines.
