The body is made of mahogany/alder and features a nitrocellulose finish. The bolt-on roasted maple neck has a modern "C" profile, providing a comfortable grip and ideal design for fast, dynamic playing. Its oiled surface ensures a smooth feel even during long sessions. The rosewood fingerboard with 21 stainless steel jumbo frets, classic block inlays, and a 13.75" radius allows precise bass lines in the lower registers and effortless riffs in the upper registers. With a 34" long-scale length, the Custom JB delivers tight string tension and responsive playability.
The two Fame single coils deliver a crisp response, while the sound can be flexibly shaped in active mode thanks to the 3-band EQ.

Players can shape the tone using volume, balance, and the 3-band EQ (bass, mids, treble), enabling sounds from classic J-style to assertive rock and funk tones. The mini-switch allows switching between active and passive mode in passive mode, a tone control trims treble if desired.
