The bolt-on neck made of roasted maple feels extremely comfortable thanks to its modern C profile and is designed for fast, dynamic playing. The oiled surface of the roasted maple neck adds extra comfort, ensuring a smooth playing experience even during long sessions. Two Fame single coils in the middle and bridge positions deliver the classic punch, complemented by defined highs and a clear attack. The pickups can be finely adjusted via volume, balance and 3-band EQ controls for bass, mids and treble, allowing everything from classic J-style sounds to assertive rock and funk tones. A mini-switch lets you toggle between active and passive mode – in passive mode, a tone control is available to trim the treble if needed. Whether crisp slap sounds, rich low-end foundations or transparent bass lines, the Custom JB covers a wide stylistic range while maintaining a confident and dynamic presence.
