The Fame Monster RW Licorice over Paisley is a modern ST-style electric guitar designed for uncompromising playability and first-class rock and metal tones. With its slim Modern C neck made of quarter sawn maple and a flat 350 mm fingerboard radius, this model from the Fame Masterbuilt Series offers the ideal foundation for maximum precision and fast playing. Two Fame humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions deliver powerful, assertive tones with plenty of output. Using the push/pull function on the volume and tone controls, both humbuckers can be coil-split individually, adding crisp, airy single-coil sounds to the tonal palette.
The Fame Monster RW Licorice over Paisley features a rear-load mahogany body, paired with a slim Modern C neck via an ergonomically shaped neck heel. The neck is crafted from quarter sawn maple, which provides enhanced stability and resistance to warping. A highlight of the instrument is its 22 jumbo stainless steel frets combined with a flat 350 mm fingerboard radius, making techniques like string bending smooth and effortless.
The two Fame humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions are true workhorses, offering more than enough output for hard rock and metal styles. Wired via a classic three-way toggle switch, these pickups deliver a wide range of tones. Additionally, separate coil split functions via push/pull controls on both the volume and tone knobs allow access to single-coil-style sounds, expanding the instrument’s versatility even further.
The hardware on the Fame Monster is designed with performance in mind and offers everything needed for professional use. The vintage tremolo features a practical locking mechanism for the tremolo arm, which can be adjusted via a small set screw to ensure the arm stays in the perfect position. Six Fame locking tuners provide fast string changes and excellent tuning stability, while two locking strap buttons securely attach the guitar strap to the body for worry-free stage use.
