The body is crafted from mahogany and paired with a bolt-on roasted maple neck, which sits comfortably in the hand thanks to its Modern C profile and is ideal for a wide range of playing styles. The rosewood fingerboard features a 13.75 inch radius, 22 frets and classic dot inlays, providing smooth handling for thick riffs, tight chord work and expressive solos in higher registers. The 3-saddle T-style bridge with vintage-style string saddles adds authentic tonal character, while six locking tuners ensure tuning stability and quick string changes.
The Fame Motel is equipped with two Fame single coil pickups in the neck and bridge positions, capturing the full spectrum of classic vintage tone. The neck pickup delivers warm cleans with a solid low end, making it perfect for rounded rhythm work. The bridge pickup, mounted directly into the bridge plate, impresses with its cutting twang and snappy attack. A 3-way switch, along with volume and tone controls, allows players to easily access the full range of traditional T-style sounds with clarity and character.
