The Fame DP-5000 is a versatile digital piano that impresses with its combination of state-of-the-art technology, intuitive operation and classic design. It is aimed at both ambitious beginners and experienced musicians who are looking for a reliable instrument for practising, composing or live performance. The 88 weighted keys with velocity-sensitive response convey a realistic playing feel that comes very close to that of an acoustic piano. Thanks to the D.A.S. technology (Dynamic Acoustic System), the sound remains balanced even at low volumes - with clear trebles and rich basses.
Large selection of sounds, effects and recording function
With over 600 high-quality sounds, 220 accompaniment styles and numerous integrated songs, the DP-5000 offers an enormous variety of sounds. The layer and split functions allow two sounds to be played simultaneously or the keyboard to be divided into two sections with different sounds. The Twinova mode, which splits the keyboard into two identical halves, is particularly practical for lessons - ideal for teachers and students.
The integrated recording function allows you to record up to ten of your own songs, each with six tracks, directly on the instrument. With the Performance Assistant, even complex playing techniques such as guitar accompaniments or rhythmic piano figures are effortless - perfect for creative experiments or live performances. The extensive effects section with reverb, Chorus and DSP can be customised and adds depth to any sound.
Simple operation & classic basic tunings
Operation is via a clearly laid out Display and numerous direct selection buttons that provide quick access to sounds, styles and songs. With the quick setting function, suitable settings for different music genres can be called up immediately.
Particularly noteworthy is the option to use classical tuning systems such as Pythagorean, Werckmeister or Kirnberger - a real plus for lovers of historical music. Permanently integrated triple pedal
The three pedals for sustain, Soft and sostenuto are permanently integrated into the housing of the DP-5000. Thanks to these smooth-running pedals, accentuated playing is possible and there are also more expressive possibilities.
Connections
The stereo output of the DP-5000 allows connection to a mixing console or an amplifier. A CD or MP3 player can be connected via the audio input, for example, and the music played on it can be used for practising and playing. Thanks to the USB port and the MIDI inputs and outputs, the DP-5000 cuts a fine figure as a master keyboard on a computer with music software (DAW) and can also be used as a keyboard for an external sound expander. The twoheadphone connections on the front are ideal if you want to make music without disturbing others.
