Build quality is good/bearing edges are fine and the drum holds its tune.
Even straight out of the box the drum had a nice, jazzy ring despite what are obviously fairly poor quality drumheads. I swapped these out for Code heads…and the drum sounds great. You maybe wouldn’t take it on a world tour (although I think you probably could) but for the purpose I bought it for…small venues, practice rooms etc…it’s perfect.
This is the third Fame product I have bought….I have a bass drum and a jungle kit as well…and with very minimal attention-they all sound fantastic…well done, Fame.
