The
The Fame Forum IV Modern is manufactured by experienced guitar builders in Europe and convinces with its carefully selected woods and flawless finish. The body is made of Khaya mahogany with a flamed maple top, whose unique grain is accentuated by the high-gloss finish. A precious highlight here is without doubt the sharply contoured curvature of the top with a recess in the cutaway, ensuring unhindered playability across all frets. The neck made of Sapelli mahogany lies comfortably in the hand thanks to the perfectly proportioned "D" profile, so that on the ebony fingerboard every note plays almost by itself.
Thanks to the diverse pick-up equipment the Fame Forum IV Modern shows itself especially versatile in sound. With a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz at the neck, a proven pair of humbuckers is used to deliver the right sound for every genre between blues, pop, rock and even metal. The bridge pickup convinces with its high output and the enormous assertiveness of its sharply focused mids, while the neck pickup brings every note to life with endless sustain and a warm vintage voice. Thanks to the coil-split circuit, you also get authentic single-coil sounds with the typical bell-like clarity of sound.
Besides the magnetic pickups, the Fame Forum IV Modern is equipped with a GraphTech Ghost piezo pickup system, which is integrated into the bridge and includes an active preamp. The system is activated by a pull on the front volume knob and delivers authentic acoustic guitar sounds with brilliant highs and the typical attack behaviour. The volume of the piezo system can be adjusted via the rear volume knob so that even mixed sounds with the magnetic Seymour Duncan pickups can be achieved.
Last but not least, the Fame Forum IV Modern convinces with its high-quality hardware equipment, which performs on stage and in the studio with absolute reliability. From the traditional stopbar tailpiece, the strings are guided over the GraphTech Resomax Tune-O-Matic bridge, whose string saddles made of String-Saver graphite material house the Ghost Piezo elements. The Black TUSQ nut, behind which the strings are held in place at the headstock by precision locking tuners, is also made by GraphTech.

amazing instrument sounds fantastic has a great feel looks as good as much more expensive guitars but the guitar was poorly shipped the cardboard was very soft no gig bag was included & there was a chip on the top of the headstock you did refund 50.00 dollars for that & the gig bag arrived today I love the guitar but how it got sent the way it did I'm surprised there wasn't more damage.i still give hot a top rating because the guitar is that good & you addressed the issue quickly
Extremely happy!! Best quality guitar I've had, I like it better than the PRS I had previously. Shipping was fast to Texas, arrived in about 2 weeks.
I've REALLY gelled with this guitar. First thing first the wood on this guitar and the craftsmanship are TOP notch. I was not impressed with the electronics the Duncan pickups, while a classic combo, didn't suit my needs. I put shur thornbuckers in right away. While the piezo pickups are graphtech the preamp is not, I changed that out as well. I also added a tone control and removed the piezo switch for a piezo volume (can be done with a mini pot). As you can see I'm super particular about my electronics so I don't fault fame, especially at this price. I will be buy another one! But, can we get a few more color options for the semi hollow!???
