Bought for Epiphone Emperor2 Pro (Joe Pass) and it is a perfect fit, and well padded to protect the guitar. Noticed on the Fame box that it was designated 940-eemcs which is the same designation as the original Epiphone case. I bought this to replace an original "Epiphone" case that I had to return due to poor workmanship and no evidence of quality control. This case looks to be exactly the same (same manufacturer?) but the quality is much better (would have been excellent but for a VERY small unglued area on the Tolex covering) and it is quite a bit cheaper than the "Epiphone" branded case. Very happy with my purchase.
