Fame ST-Body Alder SSS Daphne Blue

I'll start with the only bad thing I have to say: the detail that's not immediately obvious in the photos (at least for the piece that I ordered) is the cutaway shaping on the inside of the lower horn. In my case it's slightly straighter than a Strat -- not sure if it's just my piece, or if it's a trademark-related precaution. Either way, it's super easy to fix with some (power) tools, so I did not deduct any stars for that. Keeping in mind this is a lower budget body, I am happy that this is the only downside. I've deducted one star for the Looks because I wouldn't recommend it for a see-thru finish. That being said, the wood is absolutely great, with a super nice resonance, and the level of finishing is amazing, and not only for the price range. The body is a tiny bit thicker, leaving enough room for multiple sanding if you want to. The neck cavity fits Fender necks perfectly, and the holes line up to the millimeter.

I have not finished the build yet but the strat body you have sent is excellent. I had bought a body previously from a so called 'professional luthier', but it turned out to be wrong dimensionally in certain key areas. Your product is spot on and the quality of the alder wood is exceptionally good. The body will be finished with gun stock oil after a light walnut stain.

Two piece mahogany body, perfectly shaped and exactly as advertised, the wood looks really nice and solid. Needs another sanding for smoothing out some very minor imperfections, mostly on the sides. Would definitely buy again if needed.
