With the Fender '60s Telecaster Heavy Relic RW Olympic White #R133468, the FenderCustom store offers an authentic replica of the Sixties model of the iconic electric guitar, complemented by a high-quality vintage finish. Thanks to the traditional bolt-on construction with bolt-on maple neck and alder body, the T-style guitar offers a classic feel and ideal playing conditions thanks to the comfortable 60s oval 'C' neck profile. In terms of sound, a duo of Custom Shop 63 single coil pickups provide the typical sixties sound with Tele twang.
Tonewoods and construction
Naturally, the 60s Tele is made from the tried and tested combination of a two-piece alder body and maple neck, which sits comfortably in the hand with a 60s oval 'C' neck profile. The historically correct rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25 inch radius offers butter-soft playing characteristics over 21 frets. Furthermore, the artificial aging of the FenderCustom store on the 'Heavy-Relic' stage ensures the classic vintage appearance of this electric guitar.
The skillful aging of the nitrocellulose lacquer in fresh Olympic White and the hardware offers authentic traces of play for a unique appearance.
The chrome and nickel parts have been treated with a heavy-relic aging treatment and skillfully round off the features of the '60s Telecaster in Olympic White.
Telecaster Single Coil Pickups
Characterized by the famous wiry Tele sound, two hand-wound 63 Tele single coil pickups in the classic configuration provide the sound transformation of the 60s Telecaster RW Olympic White #R133468. Alnico II magnets provide a biting warmth and pronounced mids. The sound of the Telecaster can of course be easily adjusted via a 3-way circuit and a volume control as well as a treble control.
The six vintage-style tuning machines make it easy to change strings and ensure accurate tunings.
Vintage hardware equipment
The vintage hardware, which has been carefully aged using heavy-relic treatment, follows the historically traditional Fender equipment of the early sixties. Accordingly, classic vintage tuners and a '63 Tele bridge with a trio of threaded string saddles and string routing through the body deliver classic sounds and the feel of the original. Last but not least, a white pickguard and the chrome-plated control plate give the 60s Telecaster Heavy Relic in Olympic White its classic appearance.
