Dennis Galuszka uses a simple but energy-intensive trick to create the unique cracks within the body: First, a suitable mahogany body is selected and treated in a brine to increase the electrical conductivity of the wood. After the wood has absorbed the mineral-rich solution well and has obtained Fender Custom Shop a secure covering, two electrodes with a Volt voltage of 15,000 are applied to the one-piece Body . The result shows unique and naturally grown traces of fire over the entire body with an unusually clear relief effect.
The 15,000 Volt Tele has Fender Custom Shop nothing to hide from the sound of the real Instrument thing! Two hand-wound and somewhat hotter wound '63 Custom Shop Single coils are designed according to authentic specifications of the early 60s Tele sets and deliver vintage-correct sounds between neck and bridge position. In contrast to classic fifties Tele coils, the somewhat more aggressive sounding pickups are wonderfully suitable for rock numbers and crunchy sounds, while the modern Tele circuitry with Master Volume and Master Tone allows for softer and more thoughtful sounds without any problems.
