The body of the 1954 Stratocaster is made of ash and is complemented by a one-piece neck made of high-quality quartersawn flamed maple (AA quality). As with the early series models, a separate fretboard was deliberately omitted - the neck and fretboard are made from a single piece of curly maple, just like the original from 1954. The 9.5" fingerboard radius and the 70th Anniversary Strat neck profile ensure a modern playing feel that still retains the charm of the classic design. The 21 narrow-tall frets offer enough space for fine nuances and vintage-inspired licks. A high-quality Custom Shop Vintage Strat Relic Tremolo and vintage tuners with the "F" logo guarantee robust intonation and reliable tuning - even with extensive tremolo use.

The hand-wound pickups deliver the typical, brilliant sound with vocal character and soft mids, as we know it from countless legendary recordings. or clear clean sounds or dynamically played overdrive passages - the tone always remains transparent and nuanced. The pickup is controlled via a classic 5-way switch, while a master volume control and two tone controls are available for shaping the sound.
