With the Fender 1957 Precision Bass Journeyman Relic Super Faded Aged Seafoam Green, the Fender Custom Shop presents an authentic reissue of the 1957 Precision Bass, which marks the transition to the now familiar form of the first mass-produced electric bass. Accordingly, the four-string bass features an alder body whose grain remains visible through the slightly transparent nitro finish, and a bolt-on neck made of sturdy quartersawn maple. The handy "1957 Soft V" neck profile and the original 44.5 mm nut width promise comfortable playing characteristics with plenty of room for clean fingering. A Fender Custom Shop Hand-Wound '57 split-coil pickup provides the familiar Preci sound with rich growling low-mids and massive bass foundation, which pushes every groove between rock, blues, funk, Motown and metal comfortably into the pit of your stomach.
