The Fender 1959 Hardtail Stratocaster is a tribute to one of the rarest Strat variants of the late 50s. With its exceptional hardtail design, authentic "1959 D" neck profile and classically aged nitro finish in Faded Sonic Blue, this instrument combines historical authenticity with the finest custom store craftsmanship. The combination of alder body, one-piece Rift Sawn Maple neck and the hand-wound Fender Custom Shop Hand-Wound '59 Strat single coils produces the characteristic, dynamic and crystal-clear Stratocaster sound of that era - but with a significantly improved playing feel thanks to modern details such as a compound radius fingerboard, which with a 7.25" - 9.5" offers both the pure vintage feeling close to the nut and the modern playing feel in the high registers. As a genuine premium model, the guitar comes with a Custom Shopcase and certificate.

Rift Sawn maple neck and hardtail bridge
The alder body and the bolt-on Rift Sawn maple neck with its stable grain and the 1959 "D" profile, which sits comfortably in the hand, provide an incomparably authentic vintage feel. Chords and bends glide comfortably on the compound-radius maple fingerboard (7.25" - 9.5"), supported by 21 medium Vintage frets and a high-quality bone nut. With a scale length of 648 mm and a nut width of 41.91 mm, the handling remains familiarly Strat-typical, while the hardtail construction offers additional tuning stability and a particularly direct playing feel. The nickel/chrome hardware, vintage "F" stamped tuners and subtle ageing round off the authentic look perfectly.

Custom Shop Hand-Wound '59 Single Coils
The unmistakable tone is provided by three Custom Shop Hand-Wound '59 Strat Single Coils, which capture the character of the late 50s with plenty of dynamics, bell-like highs and a warm low end. The classic SSS configuration is controlled via a 5-way switch as well as mastervolume and two tone controls and enables a broad spectrum of traditional Strat sounds - from pearly cleans to nasal intermediate positions and clearly defined lead tones. The passive electronics are deliberately kept vintage-correct so that the guitar delivers exactly what collectors and connoisseurs expect from a '59: an open, lively and honest single-coil tone. The hardtail bridge also enhances Attack and sustain, making the 1959 VintageCustom Stratocaster an exceptional instrument.
