The body is made of alder and is complemented by a neck made of flamed maple (AAA quality). The fretboard is made of high-quality rosewood (also in AAA quality) and features 21 medium vintage frets and a 9.5" radius, while the early 60's neck profile definitely emphasizes the authentic vintage feel. The Journeyman finish in Lake Placid Blue is not only a clear quality feature of the electric guitar, but is also a visual highlight of the 1959 Stratocaster. With an American Vintage Strat tremolo and Fender vintage tuners with the "F" logo, the instrument remains reliably in tune - even after extensive vibrato use.

That's why the Fender 1959 Stratocaster was equipped with three Hand-Wound Custom Shop 60/63 Strat Single Coils in the neck, middle and bridge positions, which deliver the original Stratocaster sound. The hand-wound pickups provide the treble-rich Stratocaster soundwith vocal character and soft mids, giving each Jam its very own vintage touch thanks to the legendary tone. The pickups are controlled via a 5-way switch, while controls for master Volumeand two tone controls are available for volume control and adjusting the treble control.
