Custom Shop Fat '60s Single Coils

The three Custom Shop Fat '60s Single Coils, which are tonally modelled on early 1960s models. As well as offering brilliant trebles, they impress with well-defined mids and a direct response, whilst retaining their transparency even at higher gain settings. Via the Vintage Modified #2 electronics and the 5-way switch, all the classic Stratocaster switching positions are available, ranging from bell-like clean tones through the characteristic middle-position sound to assertive lead tones.

Authentic Sixties hardware

Fender remains true to the traditional design philosophy in the rest of the specifications too. A 6-saddle vintage-style tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines and a bone nut ensure the familiar playing feel of a classic Stratocaster, whilst also contributing to reliable tuning stability. Like all instruments in the Fender Custom Shop series, this 1961 Stratocaster is manufactured in the USA and comes complete with a matching Custom Shop case and a certificate of authenticity.
