The Fender LTD 1962 JRN Stratocaster 3TS #CZ529150 is a guitar crafted in Fender’s Corona California Custom Shop, and is a very sophisticated take on the Stratocaster relic design. A traditional base setup is combined with more modern additions, to emphasize tone and comfort whilst playing. This Stat has an 2-piece select alder body, a 1-piece AA flame maple neck and a slab rosewood fingerboard – the body is finished with Journeyman Relic Lacquer, giving the impression of a well-kept instrument, whilst the neck has a more visible heavy-relic treatment.

The tone is taken care of via the three high-output and hand-wound custom shop ’62 Stratocaster pickups and the special Strat Blender wiring working under the hood, which blends the bridge and neck pickups in almost any position. The Greasebucket tone circuit holds the dialled-in gain perfectly and the master volume pot preserves this tone through any settings.
