From sound to feel to look, the '64 Jag from the Fender Custom Shop is modelled to the smallest detail on the Instrument introduced as the top model in the Fender range and features 2x '62 Jaguar Custom Shop single-coils with original electronics divided into rhythm and lead circuits. The first offers full control of the neck pick-up with its own volume and tone controls, while the lead circuit allows control of both pick-ups via separate volume controls and a common treble. A classic Jag feel is provided by the selected Rift Sawn Maple neck in the distinctive '62 Jaguar neck profile and a Rosewood fretboard in AAA quality with 22x frets in Narrow Tall format. The shorter 24" Jaguar scale also contributes to the feel with soft bends and vibratos.
