The Fender 2018 Master Design '53 Journeyman Telecaster by Paul Waller combines the classic Telecaster design with a modern sound variety. Built by the Fender Custom Shop Team, the electric guitar has an ash body in a transparent "White Blonde" nitrocellulose finish and a screwed, one-piece neck made of maple with standing annual rings. Its "'53 Soft V" profile lies comfortably in the hand and conveys an authentic feeling of playing. The pickups are a Fender Custom Shop Hand-Wound '51 Nocaster Single Coil on the neck and a Fender Custom Shop Hand-Wound Broadcaster Single Coil on the bridge. Slightly reduced in output, together with the active Clapton preamp they deliver particularly versatile sounds with the typical Tele-Twang. Last but not least, the Fender 2018 Master Design '53 Journeyman Telecaster by Paul Waller features the classic Fender Nocaster bridge and vintage-style mechanics.
