Designed by masterbuilder Todd Krause and built by the Custom Shop team, the Fender 2018 Master Design '56 Relic Stratocaster by Todd Krause conveys the absolutely authentic feel of a Mid '50s Strat. Accordingly, an alder body in the classic "'55 Desert Tan" nitrocellulose finish and a screwed, one-piece maple neck are used, the "'55 Soft V" profile of which lies surprisingly comfortably in the hand, allowing every note to go out of the hand as if by itself. Managed historically correct with a 3-way blade switch from Centralab, the Fender Custom Shop Hand-Wound Fat '50s Single Coil Pickups deliver first-class vintage sounds with the typical clear-bellied sound unfolding and organic attack. The electronics compartment, pickguard and pickup are shielded so that no ambient noise can spoil the enjoyment of playing the electric guitar. Last but not least, the Fender 2018 Master Design '56 Relic Stratocaster by Todd Krause features the classic Fender American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo and Fender Vintage-Style mechanics.
