The Fender 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Stratocaster marks the 30th anniversary of the eponymous album by Scottish rock band Primal Scream, which gave the band and Bobby Gillespie and Andrew Innes their worldwide breakthrough in 1991 with singles such as 'Come Together' and 'Loaded'. To mark the occasion, the U.S. guitar maker is now launching a special edition Stratocaster with original album cover artwork, making a truly exceptional instrument available to fans and collectors in limited quantities, including Deluxe gig bag!

Classic Strat design

The 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Stratocaster follows the classic recipe of the successful model, featuring a solid alder Stratocaster body shaped to traditional specifications and a solid maple neck with a modern C-neck profile. The latter is finished with a Pau Ferro fingerboard that presents a 22 fret medium jumbo format and a modern fingerboard radius of 9.5 inches.

Vintage Style '60s Single Coils

In order to skilfully reproduce the Stratocaster's strong character and versatile sound, the Fender 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Stratocaster uses three vintage-style '60s single coils. The three pickups are modeled after the classic pickups of the golden Strat era of the sixties and evoke the distinctive sound and response of classic sixties Strats in all five switch positions of the pickup selector.

Custom Screamadelica Artwork

As a unique custom design, the entire body of the Fender 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Stratocaster presents the original cover artwork of the 1991 album. Not only the instrument's lacquer, but also other hardware parts like the pickup caps, the pickguard and the poti caps were provided with the artwork to give the anniversary model its unique look.
