The Fender Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar Maple, Black is a 6-string electric guitar from Fender's 2012 American Standard series.

The Fender American Standard Telecaster features an alder body with a gloss urethane finish and a maple neck in a modern 'C' shape. The easily playable neck features a deep neck tint and rolled edges with a satin polyurethane finish and is topped with a 22-fret, maple fingerboard.

The American Standard Tele now offers Broadcaster bridge and Twisted Tele neck pickups from Fender's Custom Shop, providing vintage Telecaster tones. There are controls for Master Volume and Master Tone, which includes a No-Load Tone Control allowing the tone stage to be bypassed to produce the direct sound of the pickups.

This American Standard Tele is completed by chrome hardware and a 3-ply white scratch plate over a Black finish.
