Fender Alternate Reality Powercaster PF (3-Colour Sunburst)

The Fender Alternate Reality Powercaster PF (3-Colour Sunburst) is a 6-string electric guitar from the Alternate Reality series, and is a completely original design unlike any other Fender guitar. A roasted Maple “Modern C” shape neck is embellished with a 9.5” radius Pau Ferro fingerboard, and has a fast response and familiar feel. A slightly shorter scale length means bending strings on the Powercaster is particularly easy, whilst the Adjusto-Matic bridge and sealed tuning machines ensure this instrument stays in tune during play.

One of the most interesting factors of the Powercaster’s make-up is the unique pick-up configuration - in the bridge position an Atomic Humbucking pick-up provides bite and definition, while an MP-90 Soapbar resides in the neck position, producing lively and punchy tones. The combination of these pick-ups lends this guitar sound selection choices and slashing voices rarely found in an off-the-shelf instrument.

The off-set body and curve-hugging scratch plate complete the image of the Powercaster’s distinctive shape, and complimentary Nickel/Chrome hardware suit very well.
