I have played the guitar for many years and wanted a bass. I went to the store to buy something in the 500€ range. I spent three hours in one of the test rooms trying out all kinds of basses. I kept coming back to this one. It is superior in all aspects.
The Squires and the Mexican Fenders are all good basses. But when you compare them with the American Fender it's just not the same. The finish and the pickups are much better on the American. A real gem!
The guys in the store were extremely helpful.
