The Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster RW (3-Colour Sunburst) is a 6-String Jazzmaster Electric Guitar, taken from the American Professional II Series. Jazzmasters in this top-tier Series feature “Deep-C” Neck Profiles, V-Mod II Single-Coil Jazzmaster Pick-Ups and a 9.5” Radius Jazzmaster with Panorama Tremolo Bridge. The dark warmth and high-end sparkle of the Jazzmaster is perfectly represented here. This model enjoys an Alder Body, Maple Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard.
V-Mod II Pick-Ups provide pure and perfectly-balanced Tones and their special Electronics allow each Instrument access to a wide range of Sounds. The classic Jazzmaster/Jaguar Bridge adds Sustain and Resonance alongside Brilliance. This Guitar is further enhanced by the “Super-Natural” Satin Finish of the Neck.
Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster RW (3-Colour Sunburst)I can't fault the Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster. I've dreamed of owning a guitar of this quality for 20 years and it very much lives up to my expectations, it's phenomenal. The same, however, can't be said for my experience with DV247. After initially being sent to the wrong order confirmation page on the website, I was told my shipping would be updated free of charge. The wrong address was subsequently put on this shipping, so that after a failed delivery attempt the guitar arrived later than it would have done in the first place - a full 6 days after purchase. When I tried to discuss this with the company I was greeted with rude, blunt answers and a general attitude of apathy. It was as though now that they had my money they didn't care. When my guitar finally did arrive (after I called UPS myself and corrected the address), it had a completely different persons name on the label. Just how this mistake gets made I don't know, but it's a pretty great example of the level of service I've received.
I expected that when purchasing a premium product I would at least get decent customer service, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
In summary, the Am Pro II Jazzmaster is DEFINITELY worth buying, just don't get it from DV247.
