Thanks to its design featuring a Sitka spruce top and mahogany body, the compact Malibu model develops a very powerful and defined sound, which is particularly warm in the mid frequencies and is perfect for picking. A short 612 mm scale length and a narrow 43 mm nut width give the player perfect access to all 20 frets embedded in the Pau Ferro fingerboard. The flat mahogany neck with a slim "C" profile does the rest and forms the absolute highlight of the instrument with the typical Fender headstock.
